Mnemonic

Mnemonic, an Audio Visual Exhibit created by WARE HK, was a groundbreaking project that showcased the power of data visualization in creating immersive experiences. As the Visualization Designer for this exhibit, my role was to transform raw data into a mesmerizing visual system that captivated the audience.

Using my skills in data visualization, particle systems, and Python programming, I collected various data sets from the environment in Hong Kong, such as traffic sounds and weather patterns. These data sets were then processed and translated into stunning visual representations that seamlessly synchronized with the audio elements of the exhibit.

The impact of Mnemonic was truly remarkable, attracting over 3,000 visitors during its exhibition in Japan. The combination of captivating visuals and immersive audio created a multisensory experience that left a lasting impression on the audience. By leveraging the power of data visualization, Mnemonic succeeded in engaging and captivating visitors, immersing them in a world where data came to life.
