More Reverb - Concert Backdrop

I took on the role of a Generative Artist. My task was to create a series of visually captivating and dynamic animated backdrops for the Hong Kong band, More Reverb. These visuals served as live-synced projections during their concerts, enhancing the overall audio-visual experience for the audience.
Using my skills in data visualization, touchdesigner, python, after effect, and particle systems, I embarked on the creative process of designing and programming animations that would react in real-time to the different instruments in the music. It was essential to ensure that the visuals perfectly synchronized with the audio, creating a seamless and immersive experience for both the band and the audience.

Through the utilization of creative coding techniques, I developed intricate algorithms that enabled the animations to dynamically sync with the audio waveform in real-time. This synchronization allowed the visuals to respond and adapt to the changing rhythms, melodies, and energy of the music, adding an extra layer of depth and engagement to the live performances.

The impact of the More Reverb - Live Concert Backdrop project was significant. The visually captivating and interactive animations created an immersive atmosphere during the band's concerts, captivating the audience's attention and enhancing their overall live music experience. The seamless integration of audio and visual elements created a harmonious and memorable performance that resonated with the audience long after the concert concluded.

This allowed the visuals to move and shift coincident with the band's musical performances. Audiences could experience a fully integrated audiovisual show.
